We commenced with fortnightly workshops providing training and guidance to people of all ages who took interest in learning acting and theater. However, the end of the workshop always kept people thinking ‘what next’. That provoked us to conduct extended courses. Following discussions with experts & noted people from the industry, we designed an exhaustive ‘Acting Course’ and founded VEDH ACTING ACADEMY. On July 10, 2010, ‘Vedh Acting Academy’ was inaugurated at the hands of veteran Theatre personality, Writer, Director & Producer Shri. Purushottam Berde.

Director's Message

As the Director of Vedh Acting Academy, Mumbai, it is my privilege to welcome you to our institute. Vedh was founded with a clear purpose: to help aspiring actors pursue their goals with discipline, clarity, and the confidence to use their full potential. Our aim is not only to teach acting, but to build performers who can apply their training meaningfully in the real world.

Working with passionate, talented young minds has been a constant source of inspiration for me. Their dedication drives us to maintain a training environment that is creative, challenging, and growth-oriented.

Vedh offers intensive, professional-level courses designed to provide specialized training in acting, performance skills, and personality development. Our sessions are conducted by experienced in-house faculty who teach through a strong blend of practical training, theory lectures, performance exercises, games, and extensively filmed shoots. The cultural, linguistic, and social diversity of our students enriches the learning atmosphere and broadens their artistic perspective.

In keeping with our commitment to quality education, we regularly host Master Class and Celebrity Interaction Sessions, inviting respected artists and industry experts to share their experience with our students and faculty. These interactions offer practical insights into the realities of theatre, film, and media, making the learning process more grounded and industry-ready.

I welcome you to join Vedh Acting Academy and become part of a space where talent is nurtured with discipline, creativity, and purpose.

Our history

Vedh began with simple fortnightly workshops designed for people of all ages who wanted to explore acting and theatre. Each workshop ended with students asking the same question: “What next?”

This constant demand pushed us to expand our vision.

After extensive discussions with experts, theatre veterans, and industry professionals, we created a detailed, professional Acting Course that covered every essential element of performance training. To deliver this systematically, we founded Vedh Acting Academy.

On 10 July 2010, Vedh Acting Academy was inaugurated by renowned theatre personality, writer, director, and producer Shri Purushottam Berde, marking the beginning of a journey that has shaped hundreds of performers over the years.

Today, Vedh stands as a trusted institute known for disciplined training, powerful learning experiences, and continuous contribution to theatre and media.
